The most common reaction of people who try set dancing for the first time is "it's really great fun, I wish I had found out about this years ago!". Why not give it a try, it could well be the start of a new and very enjoyable lifelong pastime! Class Outline:The class is primarily about dancing for enjoyment in a friendly, sociable environment. The aim is to teach the steps, figures and timing for the popular sets, such that dancers who attend regularly will be able to enjoy dancing a set, without calling. While the figures, steps and timing of the popular sets will be explained and practised, we don't take it too seriously - sometimes it's even more fun when things go astray! You don't need a partner, the majority of people come along on their own. Above all else, the primary objective is to have fun.
